Board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, the Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee was founded by Steven Mamus, MD in 2006 to bring personal, patient-centered care blended with university-based medical expertise to cancer patients in the Sarasota-Manatee area. Our expert cancer care team at the Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee is dedicated to effectively treating our patients without diminishing quality of life.

Manjesh Lingamurthy MDPlease join us in welcoming Board Certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist Manjesh Lingamurthy, M.D. to the Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee. He will see patients at the Bradenton office located at 3501 Cortez Road West

Dr. Lingamurthy is Board Certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

A native of India, Dr. Lingamurthy received his medical degree from J.J.M. Medical College. After coming to the US, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital (Bronx, NY). He then completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology atthe Nassau County Medical Center (East Meadow, NY) Dr. Lingamurthy comes to the Cancer Center after spending 13 years treating both Hematology and Medical Oncology patients in Virginia, Illinois and most recently at the Michael and Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He has been active in clinical trials for the past 5 years.


Manjesh Lingamurthy MDArsh Singh, MD has joined Cancer Center of Sarasota Manatee, a member of the MAXhealth family of Physicians and Services. He will see patients at our Sarasota office located at 3830 Bee Ridge Road.

Dr. Singh is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Hematology. He is an active member of The American Board of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He received his medical degree from University of Szeged, Hungary. He completed his Residency and Fellowship at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Singh was Chief Fellow of the Fellowship program with administrative responsibilities. He organized A Cancer Awareness Fair with the nursing community at a hospital for local residents once a year.  Dr. Singh initiated ongoing research projects in Lung and Prostate Cancer. He is also an active member of the Patient Safety Board Committee at Brookdale University Hospital.

Dr. Singh is married to Dr. Rishita Solanki Singh. They are the proud parents of a daughter and a son. He enjoys music and loves to play guitar. He is a member of a Cricket Team from New Jersey and plays in League matches and just recently has taken up Golf!!

Dr. Singh is currently on Staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Manatee Memorial Hospital, and Blake Medical Center.
