Research

Impact of conditioning regimen and molecular markers on leukemia free survival in patients entering allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplant not in complete remission.

Mentor: Dr. Nelli Bejanyan, MD. H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. Our aim is to demonstrate the impact of conditioning regimens such as fludarabine combined with either busulfan or melphalan in regards to the impact it has on the separate risk categories of AML patients entering transplant with residual diasease or minimal residual by cytogenetics, flow cytometry, or molecular analysis.
