Florence Arnold, M.D., FACP has joined the Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee. She will see patients at the Sarasota office located at 3830 Bee Ridge Road, Ste.301, Sarasota, FL 34233.

Dr. Arnold is Board Certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a long time member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Arnold was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States for medical training. She completed Internal Medicine residency at the New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center program in New York, NY. She also completed fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the New York Medical College Program in Valhalla, NY. She has been a practicing Medical Oncologist/Hematologist since 1999. In addition to practicing in the United States, she also worked abroad in Canada, New Zealand and the Philippines as a Medical Oncologist. She not only has years of clinical experience, but academic experience as well and has been involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows and acting as a site investigator for clinical trials.

In her spare time, Dr. Arnold enjoys spending time with family, doing 5k runs, travelling, reading and doing crosswords.
