Each person dealing with a cancer diagnosis is different. You have your own experiences, your own quality of life issues, and lots of questions.

At Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee, we take the time to answer your specific questions and address your specific concerns. Just as in university-based medical settings, our physicians follow the NCCN (National Comprehensive Cancer Network) and ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) guidelines for clinical policy in establishing the appropriate methods of treatment and cure. But because our approach is “person-centered,” we can give you a better understanding of your options and together we can make the best choices for your treatment.

We encourage you to become an active member of your healthcare team; learn about your cancer, understand the treatment, take advantage of community resources and educational programs.  In doing so, you become a more empowered patient, and we believe that may help your outcome.
