The Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee is a state-of-the-art facility offering the most advanced treatment available to cancers and hematological disorders in a warm and caring environment. Our skillfully trained and dedicated staff is committed to providing the highest quality of care to each patient.

The Center offers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and lab services to our clients. We also offer patient resource information, educational programs, and caregiver support. Our medical director, Steven Mamus, M.D., is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the center.

Dr. Mamus founded the Cancer Center in November of 2006 in order to bring personal, patient-centered care blended with university-based medical expertise to cancer patients in the Sarasota area. In January of 2008, the Bradenton facility opened, and David A. Nyberg, M.D., joined the practice. Today, patients can see either physician in Sarasota or in Bradenton, whichever is convenient.
